Applying
Who can apply?
Companies, such as agencies, studios and consultancies, and independent specialists, such as engineers, designers and data specialists.
Which paths can I apply for?
Transformation, Experience, Engineering, Data & Intelligence and Digital Commerce. Choose any, or all, that fit your expertise.
Do I need an account?
Yes. It lets you save your application as a draft, come back to finish it, and follow it after you submit.
What should I have ready?
Portfolio links, your rates, and a capabilities deck or CV as a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file up to 4 MB. Certificates and a certificate of insurance are optional.
Is there a fee to apply?
No. Applying and joining the partner network are free.
Can I change my application after submitting it?
You can change it as often as you like while it's a draft. Once it's submitted, contact us if something important changes.
Review
How long does review take?
It depends on the paths you chose and how many applications we're reviewing. Your account always shows where yours stands.
What happens after I submit?
We review your experience and your work, then an intro call, then a short task or references. After that come the mutual NDA and the partner agreement.
What if I'm not a fit right now?
Your account will show it. It usually means we don't have work in your paths at the moment.
Working together
When is the NDA signed?
Before any client or project details are shared. It's mutual, so it protects your information as well as our clients'.
How is each project agreed?
With a statement of work: the scope, milestones, acceptance and rate. Nothing starts until both sides have signed it.
How and when am I paid?
You invoice against the statement of work's milestones, paid net 30 unless it sets different terms.
Who owns the work?
Work made for a client project passes to Mayrian or the client once it's paid for. Tools and code you owned before stay yours.
Can I bring in other people?
Only with our written approval, and anyone approved works under the same terms.
Do you work with partners outside the US?
Yes. Partners outside the US provide a W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E instead of a W-9 before their first payment.
Does approval guarantee work?
No. Approval adds you to our partner network, and we reach out when a project fits your paths and availability.
